I have had the pleasure of working with a vast array of populations, including veterans, children, domestic violence survivors, previously incarcerated people, LGBTQIA+, unhoused people, severe mental illness, and substance dependence of all sorts. With my work has come experience and knowledge about humanness that I deeply enjoy and strive to nurture. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my three dogs, Kreature, Heck and Ennis, doing stained glass, making jewelry, or being creative any way I can!

Lou Duran

Billing Specialist

  • Read My Bio

After losing my son, Michael, to addiction at the age of 19, I have spent the last 13 years advocating for our community by providing awareness and education to youth and their families about substance misuse.

I joined Healing Addiction in our Community (HAC) in 2011 and we opened Serenity Mesa in 2015. As I began credentialing and billing for Serenity, I quickly realized how

    much I enjoyed the process.

My goal as a Billing Specialist is to help providers help others by providing my services, allowing agencies, such as NewView Healing, the time necessary to focus on their clients.
